I clear the code and then drove it for a day and it was fine,but the day right after the CEL comes on again and the same code comes up. I hope this does not mean my Catalytic converter is dead.

most likely the CEL will go away... the code will still be there, though.

If CEL stays after a week or two of daily driving, then yes, the cat is dead. Then, go to a dealer and have it replaced under warranty. If you're >80k miles, then it's up to you whether you want to spend $1,800+ for a new one or to explore a thorny path of a universal cat.
