Hey guys i wanna swap out my head unit for the update one that comes in the 2001's and on. Is this possible? if so is it plug and play it what would i need?

What do you radio do you have now? I am using the Concert model, but would like to upgrade

I have the single din just tape player that comes in the 98-99's..is there any way to install in the symphony I or II ?

You're going to have to swap out the center console unit with one from a later year model that holds a 2DIN equivalent mount and doesn't have that slide-down panel that the single DIN units have.. Might want to look for somebody parting out a car or a junkyard.

1) radio cage , holds radio, climate control, ashtray

2) radio from the 2000 latest 2001 if you want to have radio display on instrument cluster showing the channel you are listening etc, after late 2001 symphony have canbus system and it won't display on the instrument cluster

3) need climate control unit

5) need the console that surrounds the radio, and shifter, might be hard to find if your interior is odd color like beige, dark red, blue..
