1999 A6 transmission problems

We have had the transmission rebuilt twice and same problem. Transmission slipping and harsh shifts. Also we just replaced the transmission control module and car run fine for approx. 5 mile then back to the same old problems.

Who is doing this work? I'm guessing it wasn't properly diagnosed the first time and has snowballed
