or dump her before 100k will be the indicator on whether I MOD and make it a friggin street killer. The cost of redoing the motor and putting a mnaula tranny in her will be less than the cost of a new AUDI come 2008-9. I love the car, but the reliability sucks.

loose cover (on engine, for example)

dealers and both said it was normal, supposedly all 42's make this noise. Then, i posted a thread about the dealer claiming that they bent some valves due to a ticking they heard, so they removed the head to check it out. 1 week later, no bent valves (so they say) and they claim that the ticking was from loose carbon buildup, and now the motor is back together, no more ticking, says the service writer. Can't wait to pick it up today (hopefully), it's been too long without the sound of the V8!
