Default So even with the traction loss on the salt? I wonder if a chipped 2.7t would run 150?

That's the problem w/ the 130 club runs. If you go over 140, you're done for the year. So you can't try to run 150 and settle for 130.

Default Contact John Stahmann locally (I'm in Salt Lake City too). He tried in his A4.

It is very, very difficult to make it in to the club.

John did a nice article (he is an AW contributing editor/moderator) on his 130 club experience. It is there somewhere in the news archives.

John is actually from Orem, UT.<ul><li><a href="http://account.audiworld.com/users/158.phtml">John Stahmann</a></li></ul>

doing 130 is not hard. Doing it in a mile three times running on salt is.

read the John Stahmann article and you'll see how tough entry into the 150 club is.

Default Yea, I read this. His article is the main reason I'm thinking it will be very difficult.

But I'm hoping the performance differences between a chipped 98 A4 (I think that's what he had) and a chipped 04 A6 would be enough to go over the top.

Default stock 2.7t + highway 70 in Kansas @ 6am = 146mph and still going when I shut it down

For what ever reason my ECU does not have a speed limiter.
