Imagine that your car's top speed is limited by its power.
That means that at top speed, your engine is deliveing it maximum power to the road surface, just as with max accelleration. Loose surfaces might not be able to sustain greater than a certain power/weight ratio.

That's a pretty cool club, although I'd go for 150 if I were you :-)
In all honesty, with a chipped 2.7T, you can hit 130 on a clear, crisp day on the freeway without too much effort. Some people might say that's unsafe, but that's all a matter of the conditions and your comfort at that speed.
That's a really neat idea having speed traps and such set up to prove you did it. Would be good to see some Audi representation there as well!

How about doing 130 for a 100 miles not just 1 mile?????
