I have a 2001 Audi A6 2.7T manual transmission. I was curious if upgrading my diverter valve to a new one or to the one that APR has make a big difference in driving. I experience no problems with my car but I am trying to make small, cheap adjustments over time and I read that it is good to replace the current valve to a 710n diverter. It is APR chipped. Just need advice.

If it drives fine, you're OK. However i upgraded mine to 710N after chipping with giac and realized that my original ones were not up to the task. For once, i had hard shifts in the transmission under certain circumstances (throttle, release, throttle again), but yours is a manual
Some do recommend upgrading the DVs when chipping. The Audi ones use a diaphragm design which is fairly reliable. The others are piston type, and on rare occasions the piston gets stuck.
What's my advice? Probably yes. As to which one, not sure what to recommend.
