my 2.7 (4600) miles has devolped a rough idle that feels like a slight "miss". Same with a/c on or off.

Before I take it to the dealer - any hints about what I need them to look for?

My car had a rough idle also, so I had it checked at the 8,000 mile service-dealer said it was normal. I wasn't satisfied with this answer, but before I knew it, the idle seems to have smoothed out with more miles (almost 17,000 now).

The engineers had to compromise on various factors and we now have a slight shake at idle.

Just got my 2.7T back from its 8K service, where I asked them to look into the periodoc "rough" idle.

Dealer service advisor reported that this "may be an issue." He said the tech reported the computer showed engine mis-firing with more mis-fires on one bank than the other. This was reported to the Audi Tech Center, but since they (tech center) are on East-coast time no response was received (yet). The tech center was asked :
1. How much mis-firing is "normal" ( if normal at all)
2. How much difference (if at all) allowed from one bank of cylinders to the other.
