Would someone be kind enough to post a picture or website that illustrates the above style wheel (17"). How harsh is the sport suspension as compared to the standard suspension? Is this package worth the additional cost for a daily driver? Thanks.

Do a "Build Your Audi" and step 4 will show your the Sport options. There are 3 levels. If you drag your cursor over the selections, it will show the 2 different wheels. The Sport Package and Enhanced Sport Package have the sport suspension. I recommend getting it but I suggest you drive both before deciding.
Here is a picture of mine with the regular Sport Package (PSK).

My son has a 2001 S4 and was wondering if the S4 ride would be similar to an A6 with the optional Sport Suspension Package. Local dealers have several A6's but all without sport suspension. Currently unable to test drive an A6 with the above package.

Pls measure and report for myself and 100s of others the following. For all 4 wheels, top of wheel well to center of wheel, and top to ground. Thanks in advance for all us PSP, non-PSK, Eibach pioneers.

The suspension on the PST (enhanced) sport suspension is much stiffer and corners much flatter than the regular 2.7t. In fact my 2000 had 17x8" wheels which firmed things up a bit anyway and the PST suspension is quite a bit firmer than that. I like the PST much better than the standard suspension and I really like the greater side support of the seats.
One thing I have been wondering is if the PST and PSK are the same other than the wheels/tires. I was told that the suspension on the PSK was only a little stiffer than the standard and I would say that it is really quite different. If you like to drive you will love the PST option but if you like to cruise in comfort you might want to stick with the non-sport. If you have a large butt then don't get the sport seats, you will be uncomfortable on long trips.

I was stongly considering an S4. I had tried an A6 without sport and really didn't like it at all. Then as I went to order my S the dealer had just received an A6 with PSK... tried it and bought it.

The S4 will probably have a choppier ride compared to the A6 due to its shorter wheelbase. Other than that the spring rates will probably have a similar feel given the difference in the weight of the two cars.

I would say the ride is similar. The main reason I say that is I didn't "notice" any difference. I was riding in a friends car and pointing out all of the differences between hers and mine. There is a lot of small things and I believe I would have noticed the ride but I didn't.

I drove both back-to-back several times before buying. I even found two that had the same tires (but not wheels) and drove those. Big difference. Even so, the PSK is very tolerable on commutes as that is what I do mostly.
