2.8 and 2.7t exterior parts cross compatibility
Hey all,
Im looking to replace the front fender on my 2.8 quattro with a fender from a 2.7t. This would work right? I am under the impression that they both share exterior parts.
If anyone can tell me if I'm correct, I'd greatly appreciate saving me a drive of an hour plus to get my hands on parts that won't work.

Pre or post facelift year 2002?
I don't think so because the fender parts listing shows 98-01 Right Fender #"4B0 821 106 A" then 02-04 Right Fender # "4B0 821 106 B"
The A and B at the end of the parts numbers should mean this also the headlamps size is different, it's the 4.2 fender that will not fit either way or year.
