Default 2.8 Bank 1 O2 sensor how to replace

Any suggestions on how to get to the passenger side bank 1 pre cat o2 sensor?
It looks next to impossible to get to through the top, do i have to get underneath or remove the RF tire?
Please help

if you can't get your hands in there, get yourself a oxygen sensor socket and your job will get a lot easier

yeah i only removed the usual suspects ... air filter box intake plastic throtle body bits .. then i used the o2 sensor socket , actually makes it easier as you put the socket extension to one side .. once it broke free i just twisted the wire it was so loose and it undid.

For 1996 Cabriolet, try this forum: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/audi-90-80-coupe-quattro-cabriolet-22/

This forum is for 98-05 C5 platform, a rather different car (and engines) than yours.

Why ask here? Your platform is a B4, completely different than anything C5.
