I know a great deal about my other vehicles, and I'm no slouch on earlier VWs, Audis and Porsches, I just haven't spent much time working on this vehicle since I acquired it, having enjoyed the services of an excellent shop by basing the car in North Dallas. It's on the road with me now, and I often consult in rural hospitals, so I'm in and under it some now, turning a wrench, tinkering and generally skinning knuckles!
