Nobody knows for sure...not listed in Bentley
The reservoir is listed at .85L, but depending on hydraulic hose and steering rack and hydraulic pump capacity (which could vary depending on supplier) who knows?
I'd guesstimate no more than 1.5L total.
If you suck out the old fluid in the reservoir and fill up with new fluid, I'd guess it wouldn't take more than 2 liters to flush the whole system, including the initial .85L fill.
FWIW, I generally suck out the .85L and refill with fresh every oil change (8500 mile with 15W-40 amsoil)...keeps the hydraulic the right green color.

Thank you. I'll plan on getting two cans.
So are you saying that when you do maintenance that you drain, refill with fresh fluid, run that fluid through, drain the "flushing" fluid and then refill again? Or do you just drain once and refill and go on your way?
I went through my records the other day and it doesn't appear that my fluid has ever been changed in 8 years or 65K miles (although it's been topped off on a couple occasions). Probably time to start fresh.

The latter. Just suck the reservoir dry and refill with fresh.
