Default 2000 A6 4.2 V8 - Coolant Going Down Too Fast

I've just taken my car to a new location in the tropics, so I now use airconditioning all the time. But my coolant goes down really fast ... like half of it gone within a week, so I'm checking coolant level every morning! What's causing this problem? What can I do by myself? Is it a serious problem? Pls help.

It's a leak. If it was my car, I'd consider it a problem. Find and fix.

Default remove lower engine cover. inspect for pink crusties to find leak.

then repair leak.

Do not use radiator seal-it crap.

Default Too fast? It should never go down at all.

Mine was untouched for almost 6 years, now replaced.

Oil cooler is passernger side. Should leak enough to drip from under belly pan.

Expansion resevior had the crusties as said.
