Does anyone know where I can get a list of the options that were available on a 2000 A6?

I have the brochure. Can you be a little more specific? The stand-alone options and option packages differed according to model (2.8, 2.7T, 4.2). If you can narrow down your request a bit, it will be easier (and quicker) for me to get you a complete answer.

I'm actually just trying to determine what came standard and what options were available on the 2000 4.2. Was a heated steering wheel available that year, or did that option not become available until the 2001 model year? Thanks for your help!!!

OK, here we go. Options on the 2000 4.2 were:

1. Cold weather package (heated F+R seats)
2. Warm weather package (solar sunroof, manual side rear sunshades, power rear sunshade)
3. Rear side airbags
4. 17" alloy 8-spoke wheels ("pie plates") with 255/40 performance tires
5. Navigation system
6. Xenon headlights
7. 6-disc CD changer
8. Acoustic parking assistance (rear)
9. Removable rear-facing children's bench seat

Major standard items on the 4.2 were:

1. Quattro AWD system
2. Sideguard head airbags (optional on other A6s)
3. Steering wheel audio/phone controls (optional on other A6s)
4. Electrically adjustable tilt-telescope wheel (N/A other A6s)
5. Homelink (optional on other A6s)
6. Memory for driver's seat &amp; outside mirrors (optional on other A6s)
7. Expandable ski sack (optional on other A6s)
8. Motorola hands-free cell phone - analog (optional on other A6s)
9. Bose 200 watt audio system (optional on other A6s)
10. Leather upholstery &amp; door panel inserts (optional on other A6s)
11. Power moonroof (optional on other A6s)

The heated steering wheel <i>was not </i>available on 2000 models; it returned on 2001 4.2s as part of the Cold Weather Package.
