A revealing test: A6 3.0 FWD versus Taurus3.0 v-6
A revealing test would be a FWD A6 3.0 versus a comparable equipped Taurus 3.0 V6: same tires, similar v6, automatic transmission. I'd guess that there wouldn't be much difference in roadholding and handling. A6 is indeed a family sedan. Tires make a big difference, not to mention the driver's seat.
