Rent the Timing Belt tool kit (Blau p/n: N1A1009-D for A6 2.7t) AND the Cam Chain Tensioner tool (Blau p/n: N1A1016 it's near the very top of the list of rental tools). They're separate when you rent from Blau. I don't know about other suppliers.
I forgot to rent the cam chain tensioner tool when I ordered my stuff. Just one small part of why it took me about 10 days to do the timing belt job.
Make sure you double-check those part numbers by the way. I think they're right, but I'm not going to bail you out if you order the wrong stuff based on a post from some random knucklehead (me) on the internet.
