Default 2001 A6 2.7 ABS ISSUES

I have a 2001 A6 2.7 MT6 and the ABS and ESP lights are on.
Brakes are working fine otherwise, no beeps or issues.
After running VAG/VCDS, getting no communication to ABS control unit error.
I have tried two different working ABS pumps, one from a 2001 S4 and one from a 2001 A6 2.7 (both have same part # as my original 8E0 614 111T) and the lights are still on. I coded the pumps as per instructions (Ross-Tech), but i must be doing something wrong.
I was also unable to get the pump rebuilt, because it has the traction control (ESP) built in.
Anyone have the correct procedure for installing/coding?
Thanks!
-Leszek

probably the other ABS pump are bad too, where did you bought of Ebay ? if you still not getting communication with ABS module then ABS module is bad
go to ECS tuning they sell the revised ABS module for under $500

Both pumps were bought from people who were parting out their cars.
Can not buy just the control unit from ECS tuning as they are not for ESP cars. (would have bought one a long time ago...)
Dont really want to spend $1000+ on a new pump..
I might be missing something on the coding/install.

did you contact them directly ? Friend of mine he contact them by email, send them their part# and they had it on stock for his Audi S4 his car had ESP, he paid 450 usd+shipping
the only way to change code is to access directly the module, through the vagcom, there is no other option.

Does anyone have the correct instructions on how to code ABS pump for 2001 A6 2.7 with vag com? Can i code and check pump with it connected electrically and not with hard brake lines? Dont want to go through swapping everything without knowing pump is functional.

Only way to program and check ABS pump you need to have access to ABS Module through Vagcom, unfortunately there is no other way

Thanks for the links!
Rozumiem ;-)
I know I have to use VAG COM, but the instructions on ross-tech were misleading...
I will try it out tomorrow.
Thanks again.
