My dad and I were swapping my leaking reservoir tank for a new one and he lost the hose that attaches to the pressure relief valve on the coolant reservoir tank.
Can't find one in stock and the audi dealership wants $81 for a new one to be ordered. This is just the hose that hangs down to nowhere and is cut at an angle. Do I need to have that specific hose or can I find one that is the right size and cut it? If so, does anyone know the size?
Thanks guys

Why put one on there at all? My 2K4.2A6 and the 02S6 do not have such a pressure relief hose on the bottom of the reservoir. If the pressure relief goes off and vents some coolant out the bottom of the reservoir you have more problems than a hose would fix.
But if you really want to put a hose on there just get some fuel hose and clamp it on there.

Just about any hose would do. A fuel hose would definately do. It's really just to direct over-flowing fluid away from the engine, etc - and hopefully you don't have enough pressure to cause it to overflow that often (and by not often, I mean just about never).
