2001 a6 Foglight touble

Hello All i just bought an 2001 A6 with the 4.2 My foglights do not turn on.. The swithc shows light and the rears work (i checked the fuse) Any suggestions to check next? This is my first audi and i am excited

Have you confirmed bulbs are good?

Pull the switch out and see if someone did a fog light mod and may have modified it incorrectly.

To remove the switch push the **** in and turn counter clockwise and then gently pull the entire switch out.

I have not checked the bulbs I was going to try to figure out how to remove them and at least test for power at the plugs what type of bulbs are they If i cannot figure it out I am considering going to a aftermarket lights.
