Default 2002+ 2.7 bi-turbo

wanted the B5 s4 but it's too small for my taste. The C5 a6 2002 and on has the SAME EXACT motoras the s4, right? intercoolers, K04's, DOHC? correct me if i'm wrong...

pretty sure that's a no-brainer, having the same engine. but then why can't I find beefed out a6's running @ 600+ horses like I do for the s4's? I know it's a tighter, compact car but they're both quattro

Huge kicker for the a6 over the s4 is the HOFELE single bumper conversions. omg, so clean

i love it

but maybe there are limitations/restrictions to the 2.7 a6 that keep it from being godly like the B5 s4? doubt it, or I should say hopefully not. I mean throw in some gt25r's, the right chips, waste gates? am I on the right track here...

what are your guys thoughts?

The engine is the same. I doubt that the IC's are. K03's.

you dont find 600 hp a6's around because most of the owners arent racer boys trying to overcompensate for something. remember when these first came out they were 45K+ most of us are adults

They sell stage 3 kits that get you north of 450 hp. I'd go with a proven, supported package before you start ripping out pieces. Also, be wary of damage to your tiptronic or even the clutch/flywheel on an MT6. They aren't built to take that much power.

.. Yeah and from what i understand the a6 2.7t is not only running Ko3's but the transmission isnt set up for much over 310 ft lbs of torque... so upgrades would have to start with the turbos, intercoolers and tranny... chips are ruff on the A6 2.7t as it stands with stock components..

[lease clarify things before you make blanket statements like that... the stock manual 6spd CAN handle 600 hp, it just needs a clutch upgrade. i know most of you guys are auto owners, but please, dont lump the real A6's in with your crowd

Umm... don't be a douchebag, the tiptronic equipped A6's aren't set up for that type of torque and That's what I was speaking of...Quotes from 2.7Lturbo just on this forum consist of: "The real A6's"... "your crowd" ... "Most of us are adults" ha, what a wiener... why dont you try to be a little more constructive and if you consider yourself an adult act like one.
