Default Yeah, you can get 600 pony's from a 2.7 in a A6

But will require more than the standard upgrades.

Buy my car and you'll be most of the way there.

RS4 intercoolers fit just fine in the A6.

1. 5-sp will take much more. 2. i would nto put 310 lb-ft consistently through a 5HP19 - its marginal on the 5HP24!

This of course assumes you want long-term reliability, as opposed to a track toy and a budget to fix whatever blows up annually.

I have no idea how you would rid yourself of 600 HP's worth of heat - either he air going in or the normal heat ( radiator). For short bursts, i guess. But I've never tired.

Hey JustMe, I'm Mike and apparently 2.7Lturbo is a bit too serious about his manual gearbox... I think he is willing to defend his ability to grip short hard objects a little more than most men... more power to you clutch master turbo.. grip it and rip it... not to debate the fact that the manual i owned prior to this A6 was a lot of fun... but i went with an automatic because of the longer business trips and when i say longer business... this is a testament to that.

Default Had to laugh at that one lmao...and yes 600hp can be attained

just have to make sure you have the money to keep up with the maintenance.

FWIW, there is someone with a GT25 A6 tip on AZ.

He has a built trans from 517 though, and its not been competely reliable either.

The 2.7 in the A6 has the exact same power potentials as it does in the S4. It just takes someone who owns an A6 to care enough about power to throw in the $$$ to make crazy numbers.

Plenty of K04 A6s in the 400hps(crank) range but no one that I know of pushing past that like the GT S4s.
