Default 2002 A6 2.7T wheel fitment question

Anyone know if the wineglass 16" rims from my 99 Avant will clear the calipers on MY2002 2.7T? Still have some good winter tread left on them and need to know if I need a new set of winter rims.

Default You need a minimum of 17" for clearance.

If you've got the HP2's

In 2002 Audi dropped the HP2 calipers from the 2.7T so you should be fine.

Default It depends on which brakes you have, and the curvature of the spokes

Width and offset alone don't tell the entire story with regards to brake clearance.

The Lucas/Girling calipers require more clearance than the 1 piston ATE calipers.

If you've got the 2-piston Lucas-Girling calipers, these are the same fitment as the 2000-02 S4. Check their forum to see if someone might have experience with your specific wheel make/model.
