Hey everybody, I was wondering if people could give me a list of suggestions of In-Dash Navigation systems that would fit in my car. Also, is my car radio a single or double din? My 2000 2.7t is double DIN with a larger faceplate. I expect your 2002 is also... does it have a Symphony (1 or 2) radio?

There are kits to install aftermarket NAV systems (both single and double DIN) in your car. Try and use those wiring harness adapters so you do not butcher the stock wiring harness. It'll save you (and future owners) much headaches in reliability.

You can also install a couple of different Audi NAV systems. You might want to find used parts to save some money.

I looked at your picture and you have a Symphony 2... Double DIN. Some nice aftermarket NAV systems will work just fine. You'll need something to fill in the area around the new square radio.

There where many links when I researched this a few years ago. (Google can be your friend.) I did not go that route so I no longer have the links.

Your radio is double din, so you can fit different models of navigation units.

Thanks guys. One last question: so if my radio indeed is double din, could I still put a single din nav?

yes, you can install single din nav, there are kits available that will convert double din to single din most car audio stores might have it,
