Rebuild (aka seal) kit is cheap IIRC.

Default bruce, I've got a set from my '03 S6 sitting in the garage...

excellent condition. make me an offer. I'll throw in a brand new set of Fischer Hydraulik braided lines that I bought but never used because I upgraded my calipers to the STaSIS/Alcon kit. see PicPost for some details.

Bruce, I may have a set also. What was the improvement you saw withthe Alcon brakes, size? I am getting ready to put a set of stoptechs with 323x32 alum hatted rotors.

Default STaSIS built kit around the stock D2 S8 brembo 4-pot calipers

big improvement over the stock HP2 (for my style of driving, at least). see picpost for more details.

Default just got my 332x32mm StopTech kit for S6

I will post pictures as soon as I can. Amazing how light this kit is compared to HP2 OEM, or
a Brembo kit with stock smaller rotors.

I will get weight comparison for kicks.

Since I am installing a PES supercharger to move this portly ark a little quicker, brakes are essential. And I have to see how to relocate the battery to the rear to compensate for the added engine weight.

Since these cars are pretty rare and I am a late-entrant, I am sure I can learn lots from you guys, like how can I install paddles shifters, part numbers and cost?

RNS-E conversion seems like a lot of work as my trusty Garmin seems up to the task, and
the
Sportec exhaust. Some of my cars are somewhat power-noisy, so I really like the quiet S6. Going Supercharged may change my mind, as backpressure is important, but unlike turbo cars, SC is a noise maker, not a muffler like a turbo is.

We will see.

Excellent quality in the Stoptec brakes.
