2002 S6 front end wiggle

2002 S6
Within the past 5K I've done the timing belt service, KW ST coilovers, upper and lower control arms/tie rod ends, new front axles from Raxles, new wheels and tires, new driver's side rear toe arm and an alignment. Treadwear on the tires is fine. I had the wiggle when I bought the car and still have it after doing the maintenance.
I feel the vibration through the steering wheel when sitting at a light with the car in drive, not so much when accelerating but it becomes mega noticeable through the wheel, floor and passenger side seat when at 50+mph.
Checked the trans mounts, they're okay for a car with 120K. Just replaced both motor mounts with new Stern Street motor mounts. We tried to adjust the "snub mount" to see if that helped but it only alleviated a bit of a shake while sitting still in drive.
Any ideas what it could be?

Sounds like you covered most the common the causes. Do you have an aftermarket poly snub mount? If so I would replace it with the OEM rubber mount. The vibration transfer of the poly snub mounts is much worse than OEM.

Check to see if the steering components are tightly bolted to the body. They could be a bit loose. Do you have any "play" when turning steering? (i.e. a very minute delay in response to steering turns) If this is the case, it would be evident within the first first few degrees of steering wheel rotation.
One other remote possibility is the wheel bearing..

two possibly separate issues. Vibration at stop in D sounds like either motor mount or a tranny issue. Vibration > 50 mph sounds like wheel/tire etc. Don't assume just because they are new they are round, or because they 'balanced" they are.
