2003 sport package for 4.2 is now called PPS...
Got my order form today and it lists the sports package as PPS, the premium package as PPX, cold weather package as PAW and warm weather package as PWX. Wondering if the PPS package is the same as the PSK and if so, why the new letters? Did they change something? Anyone know?

I think your mistaking a manufacturer with the ordering code.
I believe PSK manufactures supsension parts and PPS is the ordering code for the sports package. Who knows I order the 2.7t maybe I'm wrong!

Aaah. The penalties of being a newbie. Having been thru an unannounced suspension change on my 94 s4 ( they removed the rear swaybar and trip computer after 92) I am very sensitive to any changes not announced prior to delivery.

Both codes have been used in the past, for variations of the sport package.
If you ordered from an Audi Brand Specialist, they should have a fax from Audi, indicating what it consists or ( or they can find out in short order ).
