Default 2004 NAIAS Detroit Autoshow

I went to Detroit to attend 2004 International Auto Show. Went over to Audi section and saw LeMans, A8 6.0, A8L, A6 2.7t s-line, and etc...
A8 6.0 - actual car looks better than the photo.
A6 2.7t s-line - Looked good (mostly cosmetic change except 15 more hp.) - worth extra $5,000 (?)

Many other gorgeous automobiles. Rolls Royce Phantom is just HUGE!!!

Thought on VW Phaeton - It may be a good car, but it still looks like VW.

BMW - Still UGLY!

MB - Great Cars!
AMG - Greater Cars!

A6 2.7T s-line is an extra $500 not $5000 when compared to the 2004 A6 2.7T non s-line.

Default I don't think so.

Regular 2.7t is about $45,000 and the s-line is about $49,000 to purchase. I know this because I have regular and I saw the price tag on the s-line at the show.

I can't speak to what was shown at the auto show.

I've received Audi retail price sheets from several Chicago area dealers. All show the same thing, order code 4B257Z is the A6 2.7T with the automatic transmission, suggested retail price of $42,650 and order code 4B25GZ is the A6 2.7T S-Line with a suggested retail price of $43,150. Of course, that's before you tack on options.

I have ordered the S-Line and the dealer used the $43,150 price as the basis for our price negotiations. I have the contract in hand.

I'm not sure why the prices at the auto show indicated a $5,000 bump.

Default MB: should read "girlie-cars", not "great cars" ;)

Ok, ok, I wouldn't mind having one...but that's just my feminine side speaking...

What size wheels are you getting? I'm picking up my new S-line tonight and it has 17" heels with all seasons. I've called other dealers and gotten conflicting data; some saying 18" and others 17". What should I really be getting? Thanks!

I ordered mine with the seventeen inch wheels and all seasons. If I lived in a climate where winter driving was not an issue then I suppose I'd get the eighteen inch wheels.
