3.0 V6 Motor mounts leaking oil...

Any practical reason I shouldn't put off having these replaced besides a bit of vibration at idle? TIA.

Almost makes one wonder if silicon injected into the mount after chasing the oil out with the engine supported for a day to cure could buy a good amount of time.

Your question is not one I can answer, curious to see what the others say.

Hey it's better than the temp chain I used on my 68 Ford XL 390 once upon a time until the mount was replaced, fun times.

Yep..used a chunk of logging chain to limit a 428 ford engine with two 4bbl carbs on a tunnel ram in a 68 mustang..sideways at 110 going into 4th....spool/no dif.

Gas at .34 gal premium. Won't see those days again or that widow maker.
