Default 3rd time to have a leaking cam seal repaired on 2.7t. Each time it has been done under extended
warranty, but the warranty is over in a couple of months and I dont' want to shell out $1000 bucks each year to fix it.

Any thoughts on what to do?

Default Replace whatever is wrong with the PVC system...
...or have someone else change the seal.

The dealer checked the PVC system and said that it was normal ...

I did that before and Stoney's is for a 2.8. The 2.7t doesn't have a suction pump.
