Default "Pahrump with Audi Club" picture...one of my all-time favorites. Jeeze, the old dude can write...

...and write, and write....

Just thought I'd poke my head in here to say-hey to another old guy.

Default A definite Big Fat Second to that.

You wrote that you've met new friends along the way, but probably more than you know, you've been a friend to many on this board, who benefit in relative silence from all your input. You better not ever leave this place, mister!

Great post, having recently purchased 00' A6 2.7T Tip. I'm starting to appreciate the abilities of the car, and also the time and effort you put into the car as well your driving skills. Btw I'd rather read a long informative post, than 2/3 of the short posts i see on various forums.

Default post of the year.....well said!

I started here in 1998. Unfortunatly I just dont have time anymore for mods or many posts. A lot of emotions came up while I read your post about the love affair I have with my car. Very well written!

John Glen went to space twice decades apart. Your second wind will come in another 5 years.

Keep enjoying the car, the friendships and helping the new folks that come along.

Default Great write up! Thanks for your kind words...

I always enjoyed meeting up with you on my business trips to Southern California. Your A6 is the fastest one I've ever driven! It was always fun trading stories about driving our cars. Now that my A6 is gone, I really miss it ;-(

I'll let you know next times I'm down your way, as long as you don't mind talking with a guy who drives a Jetta TDI...
