628 Relay.....I WANT IT !!
I got 2004 A6 2.7T loaner (mine is 2001 A6 2.7T)for couple of days and Man...steering feels nice and heavy. although it has 17" Rims (mine has 16") and only 7k on her(mine has 20K), It seems like 628 relay is the key factor.
anyone wants to be parted from it? ^^

Sorry..I have 2001 A6 2.7T...605 relay.
When I got my car, I had to test drive other A6 to make sure the overboosted I experienced was same for all 2001 A6 non-sport.

I have the 628, but it doesn't make a pre-2002 car feel like a 2002+...because...
...the cars were extensively "freshened" in 2002, including some dramatic upgrades to the steering HARDWARE, chassis stiffness, suspension, etc. So, simply changing out the relays makes a SLIGHT difference in the steering weight at higher speeds, but it still doesn't feel as solid as the 2002+ cars.

I just got one from an S6 owner...
very subtle difference in the boost, but in the end, not worth the effort or $$ IMHO. I might try pulling it for good, so stay tuned.
