I just purchased a 99 A6 2.8 and want to make some upgrades. Are there any aftermarket turbos avaliable for the 2.8L? If not what else can can i get to make it faster?

No turbos, PES has a supercharger for it though, a chip and exhaust also help.

I also have recently purchased a 99' A6 2.8 Q avant. Check the search function under my FLYINGWOMBAT name and you will find a wealth of knowledge. Personally, I am starting with new springs and shocks with a GIAC chip. Then adding the PES supercharger! Should be a nice sleeper that will surprise a few Beemers and the like!

P.S. How many miles do you have? Do you want to drop $5K on the PES if you plan on reselling? Typically Mods actually decrease the resale value.

What kind of horsepower increase can i expect to see with the chip and super charger (ball park)?
Will i need to make any major engine modifications (new pistons etc..) to accomodate the extra power?
