99 A6 Avant - low rumbling noise front end
I get a very low ( can't hear with Radio on) rumbling (almost like a wind noise from an open window) from the left front end. At least it sounds like it coming from there while driving. Noise is wheel speed and increases slightly if I quickly move steering wheel to right.I replaced rotors and pads to eliminate that possibility - they were due anyway.
Is the likely culprit a CV joint or front bearing ? Something else ? Any simple way to eliminate potential causes ? Car has 124k miles.
