Hey whats this I hear about A6's?
I went to my dealer yesterday and they told me that the bumper is on recall...they are changing my whole front bumper and some beams on the passenger doors...anyone ever hear of this? (I'm getting a brand new bumper I'm not complaining cuz my stock one is scratched but I'm just curious to know what the actual problem with the bumper is)

The bumper hangs pretty low and if your not careful it will catch on parking blocks and pull the bumper loose when you back up. As far as I know the recall is just a modification of the attaching points for the front bumper. There is no replacement of the bumper.

they replace the bumper if they think it was damaged because of the flaw

apparently my local audi dealer told me it was from 99-02 audi a6!
i just called my dealer now to confirm and i got an appointment to get my bumper changed, im a little confused on the flaw because ii have no idea what is broken but im happy cuz im getting a new bumper

probably really scuffed on the edges and bottom...but good for you they didn't want to replace mine
