99 A6 Motorola Hands free Unit "S8780 or SN9563
Wow!! What a journey and it hasn't even really started yet. Curious as to if anybody has utilized the private phone plug on Motorola junction box SYN9271b(data box that comes with full duplex hands free motorola kit) It has a "HSET" plug but it is only a 4 pin connection. I would like to incorperate this into the RJ45 plug to utilize the private phone install in center bin. I can't use any of the wonderful installs in the forum becasue everyone uses the Nokia which has a 8 pins for the private headset. Regardless of upcoming laws etc I would love to have this "passenger" luxery. Anyone with some ideas or know how please speak up!!!!. One quick addition. Im not asking how to do the full install, that's understood. Just the privacy install/option. Thanks!!

I must be confused.
There are 8 wires going to the trunk, you need 4 of them....chances are good that Moto didn't change which 4 they use for the handset, so you could probably even pickup the shielded ones which ran the "real" handset in the analog phone.
