Default A4 guys are saying the 02 A4 is FUGLY. Should we be offended?
The new A4 does resemble the current A6 quite a bit, should we get on the defensive and defend the styling of our beloved A6's?

Some comments:

"It looks like 'Honey I shrunk the A6'"

"Rear end looks like an A6 aka hideous"

etc....

I feel somewhat offended.

Wait until the A6 switches over. This forum will probably get ugly also.

Default Any change is Fugly...
Though I must admit that I prefer the existing A4 rear end myself. Like the A6 look, too, but think it's much better w/a spoiler.

Are we so insecure that we need them to like our cars?

If they prefer A4 Mk I, buy and keep one. Many folks are going to like Mk II just fine.
