well not specifically, but my wife got a Merc w/o Bose and wanted to retrofit. This obviously comes up a lot, because at the Bose website there's an FAQ saying thanks for your interest but you can't put Bose in after the car is made. More realistically, you probably could buy all the parts and cobble them together but at that point you should just go to a good stereo shop and have them do a really fab system.

I pursued doing this last year when I was having a lot of buzzing noises related to the stereo throughout my A6 and I just thought the speakers were going. Initially the dealership said "live with it, it's not as bad as some we've heard", but they had the regional Audi customer relations guy give me a call and the next time he was in town he spent several hours with the garage guys putting little foam bits and pieces on all the moving interior compartments and pockets and it really made a difference. (and quite a testiment to Audi commitment to customer satisfaction) He even took digital pictures of everything he did and emailed them off to Germany. But anyway, back to your question, while we were at it we looked into what it would take to convert the "symphony" Macintosh speakers over to the Bose system, and it came down to different wiring harnesses and amp placement. It just proved to be too difficult and costly to make real sense, and I decided if I was going to go that route, I was going to put in a truely custom system. The guys at CarToys were the most Audi savey of anyone I talked to in town, but it was going to be expensive. The long and short of it, I ended up trading in the A6 for an S6 before I did anything more to the system, and my S6 came with the Bose speakers.
