I am considering the following:
A6 2.7T with
Cold Weather
Preferred Luxury Package
Premium Package
Bose System
What should be the best price I could expect in the Boston area
over invoice.

In NJ, $1,100 to $1,800 over dealer invoice. Don't know if Boston is different, but don't think it should be too different. Northern NJ is a hot market, but also has quite a few dealers.

I just took delivery on a 2001 2.7T with the options you listed plus the Sport package and a couple of others.
I am happy with my deal having negotiated a 6.1% discount from list price from Pass & Weisz in Burlington, MA (close to the Mall if you are not familiar with Burlington area).
They've been good to work with so far, and I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend them to a friend. I'll pass on the names of the Sales Manager and Sales Rep if anyone is interested.
I love this car.
