I totally disagree, a loss is felt for all the servicemen and servicewomen who have
been hurt or lost their lives in their duty to this country. This just happens to be a person who's decisions and life were much more public.
IMHO he was just one of many shining stars who proved the true greatness of our country. Elsewhere he would have probably been forced to make other choices (if he had a choice at all). He made his choice and it cost him the ultimate sacrifice. Sad, but no more sad than the others! Just more public.
