Today I wanted to move my car from spot A to spot B. Suddenly I felt that my brakes are not working properly - When I step on brake pedal - almost NOTHING happened !!!!
I had to step on brake VERY STRONG if I wanted to stop (I almost crashed near by parked cars ...)
The brake pedal worked only if I step on it with FULL STRENGHT !
After few minutes everything was OK but I am very afraid to drive ...
Any ideas about what happened and what to be done to fix this problem?!
Regards
Niksa

You didn't receive any brake related errors in the info center? That would be entirely strange.
Off hand, I'd suspect the "bomb" (brake pressure regulator) has lost it's charge. Take it to a shop if you can, and keep a hand on that emergency brake!

You could have a nick or split in a brake line which is causing fluid loss and pressure loss. If a car has sat for a long time, sometimes it takes a while for the booster to pressure up. If the system is running original fluid and has been worked hard or the car is in a humid area, the fluid could be contaminated.

Try it again. If it happens again and it goes away after pumping the pedal a couple times, that could be it.
If it doesn't happen again, could some greasy material have got on the rotors (which was scrubbed off by your initial braking)?

I washed my car today, and once I was done I placed my e-brake down, placed the car in drive and away I was, then all of a sudden the brake light comes on in the info center, I was wondering does everyone go to get audi brake service or do you go else where. Another question that I want to ask is since it's time to change the pads what is a good brand which would reduce the brake dust on my wheels, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, it looks like I have gun medal wine glass alloys by the end of the day.

but that would be recitified as soon as the engine started.
I would say it could be the master cylinder and I would not be too happy driving until it was replaced, this is assuming all the obvious things have been checked - fluid level, pads, air lock etc....basically what everyone else is saying.
