Hands down winnar!

The 2.7t does have a slight bit of lag; but, if your looking at just perfomance it's an easy choice. Easy to mod and many mods are availible.

I've got one... LOVE IT

Power is right there.. engine note is much improved from my A4 2.8 as well as torque curve. I find that its PLENTY of power for this car, although I don't usually race around in it all that often. They do have some great deals right now on them, worth looking into.
