Default A6 4.2 C5 Eibach and Koni Sport Installation - Complete

I just finished the Eiback/Koni Sport installation on my 2001 A6 4.2. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

I am also considering a rear anti-sway bar installation.

I wanted to thank everyone that has posted to mt prior threads. Could not have done it without the support and advice.

Thanks!
Greg

Lower in the front by about 1.5 inches and 1.25 inches in the rear. Looks much better as the wheel well gap is reduced.

Adjusted the Konis per their tech support to 3/4 turn clockwise to match the spring install.

It is quite firm in the city but highway is amazing.

I have the stock 17" 5 spokes on the car. I would not consider anything bigger than an 18" rim... May be too harsh.

Cornering is great. Nothing like taking the car into a nice back country road like this now...

May need to do some leaf peeping in New Hampshire in the coming weeks!

Default Good for you!

I did koni sports on my wife's 2000 4.2 A6 a couple years ago and wish I had changed out the springs...the stock springs with the koni high pressure gas shocks/cartridges are way high...
