A6 4.2 Check Engine Light
My 2001 A6 with ~70K miles just had its check Engine light come on solid. Havent had time to check the codes yet, but does it reset when the problem (if intermitent )clears or does it need to be reset???? Thanks

If the problem disappears, then the light will turn off. 9 times out of 10 though, the problem
will not go away on it's own. Do not reset light/clear codes until the problem has been found and dealt with.

I;m getting used to mine -- goes away when it rains
I have a K&N (stupid idea) and it throws the too lean code. Stays on for the most pat, goes away when it rains . . . third MAF . . .
