Default Thanks Pat. The pics you posted earlier are now much smaller. These will probably be reduced in

size as well. I don't know why, but whenever I post pics, they are much larger than the scan I have made. The file ends up really big and therefore,` the pics. Later, the pics are reduced to their original size. Does anyone know why?

Default Thanks Pat...

So if I understood you correctly the first time...These are mud flaps for the 2.8/2.7T that have been modified slightly by drilling different holes in the mud flap to fit the 4.2. Is that correct?

Yes the side clips fit right on, just move the self tapping screws over a little.

Default Thanks Pat.....

I actually talked to Carrera Motors in Central Oregon today and they have installed these on 3 4.2s so far. They are going to install mine the next time we go to our creaky little cabin over there in a few weeks.

I dont know why my dealer here in Portland said they could not be made to fit. They have an excellent, albeit overbooked service department. Hmmm. Oh well. At least now I know they will not spoil the looks of my 50K car. Thanks again!
