Was in a bit of a car wreck a few months ago so working on cars can only be done in spurts before it hurts too much to go on. This inadvertently became a longer term project that I imagined due to this and other aspects of life, but I got it done.

The thing runs dead quiet and goes like stink. I think that's sort of the way it's sort of supposed to work. My 4 year cost of ownership has now increased to just under $200 per month, including initial purchase, brakes, tires, and other related repairs. That even gives me coverage for oil changes.

It will take one more car to get me over the 1m miles in VW product line.
