A6 4.2 Suspension Question - Again... Koni Adjustment Question

Help... My Eibachs will be delivered tomorrow and my Koni Yellow Sports are ready to go.
Any recommendations on how to dial these in with the Eibachs? Should I install them as defaulted from the factory or should I put a few turns into them to make them more firm?
Keep in mind that I live in Boston... Our roads are not the best but I do appreciate a tighter suspension as the non-sport suspension is not cutting it. I came out of a 2K2 A4 Sport Pack prior to the 4.2 A6.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg

That's why I would only buy matched kits, or dampers designed specifically for an app.
Given that the eibachs will be shorter and stiffer than stock, you want the dampers stiffer than stock. I'd begin by calling Koni and asking what the setting should be for stock, then going a bit stiffer. You might also ask for a suggested setting for the eibachs. Its nto really all that subjective, there is a point at which oscillation is minimized yet the spring can rebound fast enough to maintain road contact.

Thanks for the quick feedback.
I will call Koni to see what they recommend.
I may even call Eibach too.

I may try that... I just wanted to avoid having to remove the assemblies once they are installed.

I have a set with my eibach and personally i would like them to be a bit stiffer than they are now. They are the yellows but I can't...wait...sorry I haven't STFA yet...

Springs arrived. Box indicates 1580.140 but the springs have different numbers.
EW 1533 on two and EW 1565 on the other two.
Are these the correct springs in the box?
Thanks!
Greg
