A6 Ashtray/lighter assembly removal?
The lighter in my A6 Avant is getting stuck when I try to open the ashtray. The lighter is not retracting properly when the ashtray is closed, so it is getting stuck when it is opened. I want to remove the assembly to see what is broken, but I don't want to break more pieces by not knowing how to take it apart.
Does anyone have the procedure for removing the front ashtray/lighter assembly? I don't want to buy the $100 repair manual just for this small project.
Has anyone else had this problem?
