A6 beltline trim in aluminum: Is it rare or normal to have?

A6 beltline trim in aluminum: Is it rare or normal to have?
I bought a set of 5 for cheap to make into Carbon Fiber Trim. I got it today and it looks pretty cool. I would hate to start sanding if its something that someone would want.

Rare in the US to have aluminum trim for the C5 A6...
...and I think that the aluminum trim only had the 5 pieces (4 door inserts and the piece above the glove box). All other trim pieces of the set (hazard surround, shift surround, ashtray cover, the 4-pieces in the center console under the armrest) are all plastic. In the US, all A6s had wood trim for the 12 pieces (11 if 2001 or earlier).

Yep...here is a set on eBay Germany (not my auction)
it is not complete, as most of the plastic "other" pieces are missing, but the 5 pieces (4 door inserts and dash trim) are pictured here. Pardon my terrible photo skills but,
