I recently bought and 99 a6 50k (march 03) and driven it approximatley 3,500 miles. the left front end is shot (joints, bearings, etc). i bought the audi 3 yr extended warranty.

i) does the extended warranty cover this?
ii) should the dealer repair this?

(car was bought in massachusetts).

Don't you have a copy? You should, and it should say what's covered and what's not. If there is a "wear and tear" exclusion, you may not be covered. Is the "warranty" with Audi or a 3d party provider? I don't think we can answer your question without info like that.
